- Passeggiata - literally means ‘walk’ – This walk is about seeing and being seen.
- Qualunquismo - an indifferent attitude towards politics
- Rocambolesco - roughly translates to “fantastic” and “incredible” (as in fantastical adventures).
- Sprezzatura - A kind of effortless elegance
- Sputa il Rospa - literally to spit out the frog or to speak one’s mind
- Trasecolare - to be dumbfounded or gobsmacked
