Groke is an old Scottish word that means to stare at someone while they eat & hoping they will share their food with you. It originally referred to dogs staring at you while you ate a sausage. Now it can refer to the colleague after your box of candy.
Ever have moments when you can’t think of a word or a name? It’s on the tip of your tongue and you think really hard but just can’t pull it out of your brain? This is called lethologica. From the Greek lēthē for ‘forgetfulness’ & logos for ‘word’.
Ever wake up in the morning and run around like mad trying to get stuff done and you haven’t ate so your stomach is rumbling like a bear? This is called borborygmi. From the Greek borborugmos.

Zemblanity is the inevitable discovery of something we would rather not know. It’s zemblanity when your uncle details his battle with chronic bloody hemorrhoids @ Sunday dinner. In this case zemblanity can be properly enhanced with the word fucking in front of it.
My beautiful word for tonight is ethereal. Ethereal is something extremely delicate and light in a way that seems too perfect for this world.
Philophobia is the fear of emotional attachment or more commonly known as falling in love. Don’t carry the hurt from past relationships with you. What happened then is not what will happen now or in the future.
Atychiphobia is the fear of not being good enough. We all feel this but can’t let it stand in our path when we walk or we will never get anywhere. Don’t stand still. Don’t turn around. Always keep moving forward.
Athazagoraphobia is a mouthful but it means the fear of being forgotten or being replaced. Do not fear this. You are worthy enough to be remembered. If you are going to leave someone’s life do it with class.
Drapetomania is the overwhelming urge to run away. Don’t give in people. Running away solves nothing. Stay and fight.
Beautiful Words Love Edition.
Jouska is a hypothetical conversation you compulsively play in your head. Replaying an argument saying the right words to win or the wrong ones to lose. A psychological batting cage. We all do it & it’s ok, but it’s healthier talk to someone.
